Watermark problems

I was going to do such a lot today, my daughter has sold me her camera as she has just bought a fantastic new one, I have photographed a few cards and some new stock for my gifts website www.giftsandpieces.co.uk

     Well I downloaded the pictures to my computer then tried to find a free program to put a watermark on my cards,  I,ve now tried two programs and just can't get the hang of it, I also have a problem that I have been trying to sort out for weeks,

  When I try to open a document it tries to open with Internet Explorer and I have Google chrome as my prefferd site the screen just keeps flashing and I have to close the computer down  to get out of it,  I have looked at everything and cannot sort it out.

    So I give up,    any way here are the recent cards that I have made this week, using decoupage sheets that I have had for awhile, I really must use what I already have before buying anything else, also I  am wondering whether to buy a new die cutting machine  I have the original cuttlebug which is great but would love a bigger machine.

A Card for mum,s birthday

Today I put most of my christmas stuff away just leaving about a dozen decoupaged toppers ready to make into cards, all the papers and card I need have been chosen and left in a pile as well.
   So today is my first birthday card I have made this year and it's for my mum's birthday tomorrow.
I have used one of Teddy Bo's new digi stamps  and the paper was from a free pad of paper in a magazine,  I love making flowers with the same paper that I have used on the card.

    I also made a bookmark for her as we can't get her to agree to a Kindle which I think is the best thing since sliced bread.

      That all done I have come downstairs to sit in front of the gas fire as I am frozen ,  most of our radiaters don't work and for the past 2 years hubby has said he will mend it in the summer that's the same as when a job needs doing in the house he says he will do it at the weekend, trouble is he never says which weekend he means.

                                                                         

Cleaner Wanted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cleaner Wanted,  All I want is someone else to clean the main bathroom, the ensuite and the downstairs toilet and to run the hoover round upstairs   BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TOO   I thought is was lovely when we bought this house cus of the ensuite and downstairs toilet  but I was 10 years younger then and didn't suffer with arthritis.  Now once I have done all that I am fit for nothing else.
         Any way that's my moaning done   here is a card I recently made very simple but I think very nice mainly because it's a Teddy Bo image which I love.

3rd Day of diet

Wednesday 11/1/12  is the third day of my diet with a bit of excercise on the wii keep fit, cant do much as I have arthritis in both knees.  I have already lost 3lb, need to lose a few stone .
    Today I am going to sit and make up a lot of xmas decoupage so that I can make up some cards tomorrow and put them on my web www.guardianangelcrafts.co.uk then put them away till November.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year everyone,
   Just a quick post to wish everyone a happy new year,  am hoping this year will be the start of new things, I am going to give myself a boost this year and book a hair appointment and get a new style to go with all the make up my daughter bought me for xmas, I usually put a quick dab of eyeshadow and virgin vie all in one powder on in all it takes me 2 minutes.  my time is usually taken up with everyone else, this year is going to be me me me.  Also I am hoping to lose some weight.
   I run 2 websites the latest being gifts and pieces  and will be working a lot on that and my crafting website as well and of course do more blogging
  I havn,t made a card since a week b4 xmas which was a birthday card and the room is a mess ,  so first job will be tidy that up.  I plan to make a few xmas cards b4 I clear it all away

               

                                                                               

Right Birthdays finished, Xmas begins

I have spent the last 2 weeks getting all the family birthday cards made that are before xmas, I have over 20 to make for October to December all family and close friends.

   That done I have unpacked all my christmas stamps, papers ect.    I have a few xmas fairs to go to, first one tomorrow so I need to get a few xmas cards made today, I think I will have to switch my computer off so that I'm not tempted to keep checking  facebook.

Busy, Busy, Busy

I have been so busy so far this week,  Ironing, hoovering, dusting, washing.  Now it's fun time, I have a table at the Pamper Evening at our local church hall on Friday so I have loads of preparing to do.
      This is one of the cards I have just made using my new digi stamp from Teddy Bo.
 My next job is to make some banners that say  Mum, Dad, Sister ect as every time I have a stall someone wants a card for a relative so I thought I would make some banners up then If someone wants a card with say  Sister on it, I can stick it on any card,(Does this make sense , It does in my little world)
     I was so pleased that I won a stamp last week on a challenge I entered.  The stamp I chose was of a piano, a xmas pudding and a dog.  I made a lovely xmas card with it, can't show you it as it is an order for my Piano Tuner.

Scrapbook Page Or Is IT, & my first giveaway
      I recently was offered a copy of My Memories suite from My Memories, which is a digital scrapbooking software. and a copy to give away on my blog.   Well not being very up on using programs I was a bit worried, but today I had a little play with it an got very excited in what I could do.
   There are loads of scrapbooking pages and more available to download,  layouts and lots of pages and embellishments.   Not being a scrapbooker my thoughts were what could I do.  Easy I made a scrapbook page up, where you add a photo I added a digistamp saved it as jpeg then took it over to my photoshop(Which I can only do basics on) made the page smaller and printed out, made it into a card, coloured the digistamp added glitter and bobs your uncle.

   I also follow there blog which is very interesting with lots of ideas and tips.

Olivia don't Look

Olivia don't look as this is your birthday card for Monday .   Family birthdays are coming along quite fast now. From now until xmas I think there are about 22 family birthdays.  Which is why  I am never ready for xmas.
   I have 2 birthdayson Sunday and Olivias on Monday.
Olivia is a big fan of horses so this digi image from Teddy Bo is perfect for her, I coloured it in with my pro markers.  The flowers I put together then sprayed with spray and shine and whilst still wet I sprinkled glitter over them.

Has Any One Missed Me

Hi, I'm back after a long break, it all started because of the summer holidays and I wasn't spending long doing any card making, Then my mum who had been ill for a while found out she had cancer so really couldn't
concentrate on my cards. She is due her second chemo tomorrow .
         Now I am trying to get back into a routine,  so here is a christmas card I made this afternoon,  I used a Kanban stamp and coloured with pro markers, and glittered.  The stamps down the right side were free with the Do-Crafts magazine a I think I will be using them a lot.
     My next job tomorrow will be looking through every ones blogs then enter a few competitions.
As I have always told other people crafting is a great way of taking your mind of things

   

Thats Not What I Asked For!!!!

Hi, It's been awhile since I have been on here, what with my daughter on her school holidays and one thing and another I have not had Time to make many cards.
     Today I have been Tidying my craft room as I have bought some more storage for the table top, I think I enjoy organising my room as much as making cards.
   Last week it was my daughters 14th birthday which entailed a sleep over of 3 of her friends as usual not much sleeping was going on.
        This is the card I made for her using a LOTV stamp  and the actual card made using a Go Kreate Die

                I was very pleased with the outcome ,  the sentiment at the top of the card says:-   Thats's not what I asked For!

                                             

Look What I've Got

I haven't  been here for a while as amongst other things it's  the summer holidays and have had to do other things with my daughter,  but look what arrived in the post yesterday.  I can't wait to have a go with them so today I finished some cards that I had started, and wait for it, I tidied all my bits of ribbons.
       I love my cuttlebug so when I saw the new embossing folders it was a must to have them.  I loved the idea of being able to place more than one embossing folder on the new pad .  So watch this space for cards made with this new kit

                                                                                 

Last Day of School

Schools out at 12.30 this afternoon and my peace is over until September,
           This week has flown by, I haven't been in my craft room much  this week,  I have a new laptop so have been transferring things over from the computer and  I thought I better do a bit of cleaning.
            Saturday I went to the Summertime Crafting show at Doncaster and had a lovely time, bought a few things i.e.  The Hougie board, Lily of the Valley stamps,not as much as I wanted as you just couldn't get to the stand easily as it was very busy, I also bought some friendly plastic and can't wait to have a play with this.  I bought a large Go Kreate Frame havn't used that yet either.
               I did manage to make a couple of cards yesterday, here is one of them----

Summertime Crafting

I'm all spent out after having a very good day at Doncaster at the Summertime Crafting show.  It's only the second time I have been to a show as a customer,  I have done loads with a shop I used to work  at,  Iv'e worked at Doncaster, Ali Pally, G-Mex   to name a few and although is a lot of hard work is the best times I have had.

    Today's card is for my nephew and needs to get to the post,  I used my new Go-Kreate die, my new sentiment stamp which is from a set of sentiments from Lily of the Valley, the image is from Digi Boutique,stamped with pro markers.

                                                                           

I Know Its Teddy Bea

I know I said yesterday no more Teddy Bea for a while but I had already coloured her in so it doesn't count.
         I am doing this post early today as I am spending the day with my mum and sister, which means a few coffee shops maybe a couple of garden centers maybe or just sit and chatting all day while dad makes the coffee.
          This Teddy Bea I purchased this week and thought it would be lovely as a Thank You card.  I coloured her in using Promarkers , the backing paper is from Buzzcraft which I also used to make the flowers.

          Tomorrow I will do something other than Teddy Bo  I promise.

My name is Sue and I am a Teddy Bo Addict.  Right this is the last Teddy Bo/Bea card for a while I need to do something else, but they are so cute.
    I have stamps I haven't used, so I promise I am going to use one of them next.
So here is Teddy Bea that I made last night.  This morning I have done the cleaning so I can make cards without feeling guilty that I should be doing something else.

   

Bathtime Teddy

I'm sat here in my  little craft room so much to do but cant get myself motivated.  I've finished a card I started yesterday, tidied the computer a bit i.e. putting things  in folders so I know where to find things quicker.
Bought a few more Teddy Bea images , and now I think I will check who is at the Summertime Crafting event at Doncaster Racecourse this week so I can plan what I want to buy.
    This is the card I finished this morning, I've used this image before but think it is so nice.
  I have coloured with my promarkers then used glimmer chalk around the bath, the bubbles are glittered.

Does anyone know why

Todays card I have made using a Sugar Nellie stamp -  Gorjuss - Sitting,
  I have had this stamp on my own website for months  along with a few others and they never sold , so I decided because I had started stamping again I would have them myself, I had two of each so I had one of each and kept one of each on the website.   Then would you believe it  since then nearly every day the Gorjuss Girl Sitting was being looked  for I quickly sold the one I had and still now people are looking for this stamp,  What I want to know is why, I know its a nice stamp  but why is everyone looking for that one, no one is interested in the others I have  just that one stamp??????????????????????????????????????????????

   If anyone knows please let me know .

Early Night

I'm righting this a bit late tonight as I have been busy re photographing all my cards and jewellery on my website, I think they look a lot better now and tomorrow I will be putting my new cards on. My daughter has promised she would do a bit of alteration on the first page.
     I've just made a milky coffee and going to tuck myself in bed and read my book well my kindle then another busy day tomorrow.

     Here is one of my latest cards,  I used a stamp I have had for years coloured it with promarkers and used papers from my stash , I put the image on top of an old cd.
